O.C.-BASO is an open cell foam made of melamine resin with excellent acoustical insulation characteristics. Because of the open cell structure of O.C.-BASO, it has a an extremely low weight and is very well-suited for thermal insulation. The structure guarantees that sound waves are not reflected as reverberation but can penetrate cell structure without hindrance. The excellent sound absoprtion is a special characteristic of this material. O.C.-BASO is used for acoustical insulation measures with high fire protection standards.
